Schools throughout the Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) are excited to honour Terry Fox through online fundraising campaigns and school run events, beginning Thursday, September 22. Students and staff are excited to welcome back parents and community members to participate as well.

Students will begin their day by singing O Canada outside of the school at 8:25 a.m. They will then head out for their Terry Fox Run through the hamlet; parents are welcome to join. Online donations. |
Clairmont Community School |

Students in Kindergarten – Grade 3 will begin their Terry Fox Run, running laps around the reservoir at 1:00 p.m. Students in Grades 4-8 will begin their run at 2:00 p.m. Parents and community members are welcome to join in the walk/run, or stand around the reservoir to cheer the students on!
You can help Clairmont Community School reach their school-wide goal of $3000 by donating online. Students who collect the most donations will receive a 2022 Terry Fox t-shirt, and the class that raises the most money will be awarded with an ice cream party from the Ice Cream Barn. |
Eaglesham School |

Students will be joined by three Paladin Security trucks for their school-wide Terry Fox Run. The Pit Stop food truck will be on location for a celebratory lunch. Online donations. |

Students will be walking/running one lap around the Muskoseepi Park reservoir. Students will participate in a school-wide run/walk and are welcome to donate a loonie or toonie to the Terry Fox Foundation. Primary students will kick off the day with a shorter run and will then cheer on the junior high students at the finish line. La Glace School invites families and the community to join its students on their 80s athletic wear themed Terry Fox Run. Students will learn about Terry Fox and why he is considered a Canadian hero during in-class and school-wide presentations.
